Great Sailing was established in 2004 by José Maria Van der Ploeg, who is a former olympic champion and with his great experience in the world of yachting allows Great Sailing to offer the clients a superb quality in their services.
Great Sailing operates with the prestigious shipyard X-Yachts and are representatives in Catalonia and the north of Spain.
X-Yachts is a consolidated company, and earns its reputation through it's high quality range of yachts covering a 34 to 70 feet, equally designed for the cruiser as the racer.
Our company is located in Barcelona, en part of the old harbour, or Port Vell, ie. in the heart of Barcelona, with a great range of services. Barcleona with it's location find itself very close to the Balearic Islands, Costa del Sol and Costa Azul.
Our company offers services in yacht-sales, new and used, post-sales service, maintenance service, racing and cruising yacht charter, personal consulting and the organization of nautical events for companies.
